What to Expect

During your first initial naturopathic visit we spend an hour going through your health concerns, health history and different facets of health to get a full picture of what is going on.

You can expect to leave the first visit with some lifestyle advice, nutritional adjustments, individualized supplements or herbs and/ or laboratory testing.

Follow-up visits are used to follow your health progress, adjust and add to the treatment plan and keep you on track to better health!

Conditions Treated

Naturopathic Medicine focuses on treating the person as opposed to treating the illness. This means most conditions and states of health can be improved by Naturopathic Medicine

That being said, I do have particular areas of health that I see a lot of in my practice and focus a lot of my research and continued education on!

Stress/ Burnout & Mental Health

  • Burnout is a state of emotional, physical, and mental exhaustion caused by excessive and prolonged stress. It occurs when you feel overwhelmed, emotionally drained, and unable to meet constant demands

  • I look at different causes of anxiety - stress, nutrient levels, gut health, lifestyle, diet, etc. to help support your anxiety from the ground up

  • Supporting difficulty falling asleep and/ or staying sleep

  • Looking at the root cause of fatigue

  • Supporting the brain through a holistic approach

Women’s Health

  • PMS, heavy periods & breast tenderness are all normalized but are a sign of a hormone balance

  • Supporting this natural transition in life to ensure it goes smoothly

  • From a naturopathic perspective, endometriosis is an inflammatory and immune system related condition worsened by hormone imbalances

  • One of the most common hormone imbalances in women that encompasses many aspects of health naturopathic care can help address

  • Supporting chronic yeast infections and BV by supporting the whole body

Gut Health

  • Addressing the root cause of the common condition characterized by gas, bloating and loose stools and/ or constipation

  • You don’t need to live with bloating. It’s a sign something isn’t right in your digestive system

  • Microbiome imbalances often causing bloating, bowel issues, brain fog and skin conditions

  • Also known as GERD. Supporting the root cause of why it’s happening. Also helping people wean off antacid medications

  • Inflammatory bowel disease consisting of Crohn’s and Colitis. Supporting inflammation, diet and the immune system
